P.S. I Love You

P.S. I Love You has a cast full of incredible actors; Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler, Lisa Kudrow, Gina Gershon, James Marsters, Kathy Bates, Harry Connick Jr., and Jeffrey Dean Morgan just to name a few. What a movie!!! Every time I watch this movie I cry but not because it is a extremely depressing movie but because it has a genuinely sweetie, heart warming movie about love. The movie was based on a book written by Cecelia Ahern, which also made me cry. I definitely do not want to spoil the movie for you but let me just say it most definitely makes me top 10 favorite movies of all time.

Penelope

A great movie for both parents and children is Penelope. It is rated PG but I absolutely loved the movie. It was both cute and funny with a mixture of life lessons. Looks are not everything but Penelope does not realize that until she finds a boy she can love. However her mother believes that looks are everything. Penelope goes on a journey to discover who she is and does not listen to what her mother thinks. Penelope learns that what matters the most is what is on the inside. Christina Ricci as Penelope Wilhern, James McAvory as Johnny/Max, Catherine O'Hara as Jessica Wilhern, and Reese Witherspoon as Annie are a great start to this amazing cast. Just watch to find out how Penelope's journey begins and ends.

Shakespeare In Love

My favorite play by William Shakespeare is Romeo and Juliet so when I watched Shakespeare In Love I fell in love. I definitely am a hopeless romantic and this was the most romantic movie I have watched in a while. I do tend to watch a lot of chick flicks which have romance in them but nothing like this. Gwyneth Paltrow and Joseph Fiennes make the most amazing couple. I fell in love with their love. The whole play centers around the writing of Romeo and Juliet. William Shakespeare is played by Joseph Fiennes and Lady Viola, his true love, is played by Gwyneth Paltrow. If you want a love story that will melt your heart, Shakespeare In Love is definitely my number one choice!

Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood

What an amazing cast; Ellen Burstyn, Ashley Judd, Sandra Bullock, James Garner, and Maggie Smith just to name a few. This movie touches the heart and is the perfect mother-daughter movie. Not only did I laugh but I cried too. Everything about this movie brings a smile to my face. The movie takes place down south giving it a culture all of its own. The mother and daughter in the movie deal with a very difficult past but with the help of friends and family they get through it. I saw this movie with my mom when it first came out and I remember us both sitting in the theater crying and laughing together. No daughter can truly understand her childhood without her mother's help. This movie is a definite rent and watch with your mother or daughter!

Sex And The City: The Movie

If you loved the tv show you will definitely love the movie. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon come back to the screen with a bang. The girls are all about love, shopping, sex, and friendship. How can you not love them? I began watching Sex and the City on WGN first and then saw the movie. I was so intrigued by what I saw that I went online and placed holds on the HBO tv series. Not only are all the girls looking for something more than just love they are also just as closer, maybe even closer than before.

Every little girl thinks about their wedding day. This is a great movie about weddings! I mean Big and Carrie are so in love. Their wedding is destined to happen. So when we get to experience their wedding we get even more excited than before. Every aspect of the wedding and their love is BIG! Everything must be absolutely fabulous because Carrie is nothing less than fabulous and she definitely knows it. Her friends are there to love and help her along through the whole journey of the wedding. Without her friends Carrie would definitely not be Carrie and Sex and the City wouldn't be such an intriguing movie!

Stardust

So I just watched the movie Stardust. It was a very interesting movie. Some of the major cast includes Sienna Miller, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert DeNiro, and Claire Danes. The movie takes place in England and in a magical world that you can only enter through a hole in a wall surrounding the town. Tristan, played by Charlie Cox, goes to find his mother, who lives in the magical world, and goes in search of a star for his love, Victoria. The movie has lots of action and is quite funny. It also has a romantic aspect to it. There are evil witches, princes, and pirates. Its a great movie! If you're looking for something with everything this is definitely the movie for you!
